American Reconstruction and Reinvestment Act 2009 Statement of Compliance for Buy America Provision
The American Reconstruction and Reinvestment
Act (ARRA), passed in February 2009, Section 1605 requires that all
manufactured goods, as well as iron and steel, used in
stimulus-funded public works projects under a threshold of
$7.4 million be produced in the United States. Projects over
that cost threshold may also use U.S. manufactured products if
desired. This provision is often referred to as the Buy American
provision.
The appearance of the Recovery Act Logo in relation to a Blue Ridge product is only intended to reflect that product may be used in an ARRA funded project.
